Taxes Report

How much of each tax you collected over a date range — the numbers you copy onto a filing.

Filters

Along with Group by and the date range, this report filters by tax. Filing is usually per-tax and per-jurisdiction, so select the one you are filing and the table narrows to it, with the tax’s name in the column header so it is unambiguous which one you exported.

The This quarter, Last quarter, This year, and Last year shortcuts exist for exactly this job. Quarters are calendar quarters in your property’s timezone, which is what filing periods are based on.

Report Table

Each period shows the Taxable Amount and the tax collected on it. Having the taxable base next to the tax is what lets you sanity-check a filing: if the ratio is not close to the rate you have configured, something is exempt that should not be, or a tax assignment is missing a unit.

Totals span the whole filtered range, and Export CSV gives you the same rows for your accountant.
