Deposits Due

Active and pending reservations whose required deposit has not been paid in full. These are bookings holding dates you cannot sell to anyone else, with nothing yet secured against them — the list worth working through every week rather than every month.

Each row shows the guest, the deposit required, what has been paid so far, the outstanding amount, the units and add-ons booked, and the stay dates. Partial payments are visible, so a guest who paid half is clearly distinguishable from one who has paid nothing.

Working the list

Sort your attention by arrival date. A deposit outstanding on a stay six months out is a follow-up; the same amount outstanding on a stay next week is a decision about whether you are still holding those dates.

To chase one, open the reservation and use Collect Payment to charge a saved card or send the guest a payment request. For a guest who has gone quiet close to arrival, cancelling puts the dates back on sale while there is still time to resell them.

An empty list means every booking is paid up to its deposit requirement, which is what you want it to look like most of the time.

What counts as “required” comes from Deposit Settings. If this list is unexpectedly empty, check that deposits are enabled at all — and if you are calculating per unit and add-on, that none of them are still sitting at $0.
